What do you enjoy most about working with investments?

I like that each day and each situation is different. No two days are the same in financial markets, and no two families have the same goals. New challenges arrive daily, and that keeps things exciting.

What hobbies or interests do you have outside of work?

Becky and I have a 10-month old son, Eli, who keeps us busy! I am also an avid reader and world traveler. And of course, I am a diehard Buckeye Football fan and Red Zone Channel watcher!

What is one piece of advice you would give to someone just starting out in your field?

Read everything you can, every day. Be organized. Have lofty goals and exhaust yourself achieving them.

What are some important skills or traits that you believe are essential for success in your role?

High IQ and EQ, self-motivation, fearlessness, having a vision of your future, and endless ability to do things that aren’t fun nor popular.

What is something people might be surprised to learn about you?

I began learning how to program computers when I was 3 years old and gave up the hobby when I was 13. TRS-80 Model 1, for the win.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

A year-long cruise around the world. So much left for Becky and me to explore!!
